Metform is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. As a Truck Driver, you'll play a vital role in safely transporting cargo between our locations within Savanna and Mount Carroll on night shift (Sunday Night - Friday Morning 11PM-7AM).

Job Duties:
Adhering to the Company's Safe Driver Code and maintaining a valid and good-standing driver's license
Inspecting the truck pre- and post-trip to ensure safety and compliance
Monitoring the maintenance and repair of the truck to ensure optimal performance
Assisting with or overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo
Maintaining accurate logs recording cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled
Completing all documents fully and accurately to meet regulatory requirements
Adhering to 5S standards to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Following all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Perform work under general supervision
Handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff
Education:
Require a class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and appropriate endorsements
Competencies/Skills:

Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Basic verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
